VideoDesk is a NYC-based provider of a cloud-based video sales support service that enables live video chat, live product demonstrations, co-browsing and document sharing. Led by CEO and co-founder Olivier Coste, the platform lets online customers visually interact with trained agents who guide purchases. The service supports more than 7,000 e-businesses. In December 2014 the company secured $4.8m in angel and seed funding. VideoDesk intends to use the capital for market expansion into the enterprise sector and for product development. The company focuses on helping enterprises personalize the purchase path and engage consumers through interactive video and co-browsing.
