Overview
Studytracks is a Paris-based edtech and music‑tech startup founded in 2015 by Ivor Novello award-winning songwriter George Hammond-Hagan. Its mobile app converts curriculum into song tracks to drive engagement, retention and achievement in and out of the classroom. The platform offers more than 1,500 tracks across over 45 subjects, covers UK secondary syllabus, US grades 6–12 and France's Brevet and Bac, is used by more than 100 schools and has been downloaded over 400,000 times. Pilots in US high schools showed pass rates rising from 23% to 76%; independent research reported a 44% increase in test results and that three-quarters of students retained or improved scores on initial quizzes. Studytracks will use new funding to accelerate its US expansion and make its tracks more widely accessible. The company positions its method as leveraging music to stimulate memory formation and retrieval and plans to work with teachers and academic institutions in the US and France.
