Overview

Studytube operates a SaaS-enabled online learning and development platform and marketplace that aggregates courses from third-party providers. The company offers a combined learning management system, learning experience platform, an integrated authoring tool and marketplace for enterprise customers. Studytube says the combined portfolio now includes over 8,000 learning providers offering more than 250,000 online and offline learning products, and that €50 million worth of learning products were procured through its marketplaces in 2021. By acquiring Springest, a European training-booking marketplace, Studytube added more than 30 clients (including T-Mobile, Vattenfall, Aegon, NS, Eneco and STORK) and now serves over 300 mid-size to large enterprises. The company has more than 180 employees across offices in Amsterdam, Berlin and Kharkiv and plans to open offices in the Nordics. Studytube intends to scale headcount and pursue further strategic acquisitions in Europe. Studytube offers an all-in-one learning platform and proprietary online academy that enables organisations to create and distribute bespoke training content and to give employees guided access to a large catalogue of third-party training. The platform includes management tools that monitor employee development, attendance, and compulsory training certificates, and it automates procurement with over 1,000 educational providers. Studytube functions as both a SaaS learning platform and a training intermediary, reducing time spent on searching, booking, invoicing and evaluation while realising purchasing discounts with affiliated providers. The company reported about €10 million in training booked via the platform in 2020 and cumulative customer purchasing discounts of more than €1 million; it also posted 755% turnover growth over the past four years. More than 200 organisations representing roughly 500,000 employees use Studytube, and the company has been in the top 20 of the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 in the Netherlands for the past three years. Studytube plans to continue investing in people and product development, expand and optimise its learning offering, and pursue international growth to become a top-three Learning & Development player in Europe.
