Overview
Stylesight provides trend content, tools and technology for the fashion and style industries via a Software-as-a-Service platform. The company offers designer tools and trend content in Chinese, Japanese, Spanish and English. Its subscribers include leading retailers, designers and manufacturers worldwide. Stylesight was founded in 2003 by apparel manufacturing veteran Frank Bober. The company closed a $10m equity investment and intends to use the funds to accelerate global expansion. As part of the financing, Richard J. Harrington of Cue Ball Capital will join Stylesight’s board of directors. Stylesight specializes in trend forecasting and product development tools for professionals in the fashion and style industries. The company's platform gives designers, manufacturers, and retailers access to the latest fashion data and images that can be used in advertising campaigns, design plans, and merchandise displays. Stylesight announced it completed a $16 million Series A round from Fidelity Ventures. Fidelity Ventures said Stylesight addresses a huge need in the fashion market and could shift the way apparel manufacturers, brands, and retailers do business. The company will use the financing to expand its research and development efforts and provide more content for its users.
