SubioMed is developing Suspension Biomechanics™ technology aimed at improving lower-extremity biomechanics and skeletal function during human locomotion. The company intends to commercialize technology invented by Barry Butler, DPM, a board‑certified podiatric surgeon with 28 years in practice. Proceeds from its initial financing will fund development of its first products, which SubioMed anticipated launching in early 2021. SubioMed announced completion of an initial equity financing and plans to use the capital to accelerate product development and future growth. Leadership includes Chairman and CEO Patrick Kullmann, who emphasized the financing as a step toward addressing biomechanics-related morbidity and mortality.
