Suger

Daly City, CA, United States

Overview

Suger offers a unified toolkit and APIs that automate listing SaaS products across cloud marketplaces and integrate with billing, CRM, and other tools. The platform automates tasks such as flexible pricing, revenue reporting, buyer insights, and orchestration of transaction lifecycle nodes. Founders Jon Yoo and Chengjun Yuan, who previously worked at Salesforce and Confluent, launched Suger at the end of 2022. The company says customers on average 3x their marketplace volume after switching from in-house or competitor solutions. Suger’s customer base has grown to more than 200 companies, including Snowflake, Notion, and Intel. The company plans to use new funds to build out product capabilities, expand engineering bandwidth, and eventually add buyer-side tools to help enterprises procure software and manage spend. Suger provides a sales platform for cloud marketplaces that helps B2B software companies list and sell through cloud providers’ marketplaces. The company offers a fully verticalized suite of tools that integrates with customers' existing tech stacks and automates the listing and selling workflow. Suger aims to accelerate B2B multi-channel sales, streamline sales and operational workflows, and cut operations costs as customers scale marketplace programs. The company plans to use the new funding to expand and refine its product to span the entire pipeline—from trial phase and opportunity sharing with cloud providers’ sales networks to procurement and post-sales on the marketplace. Led by CEO Jon Yoo, Suger focuses on accelerating cloud revenue for software vendors.
