Suggestv provides an intelligent video discovery and recommendation platform that matches and inserts videos into written articles, automatically optimising playlists based on contextual relevance rather than consumer data. The product pulls content from publishers' own sites and premium partners and, the company says, helps on-site videos attract over 50% more views. Suggestv targets publishers who struggle to monetise video content or achieve high views outside main social platforms and already works with The Telegraph, Bloomberg, UNILAD and Global Radio. The company serves around 50 million videos a month. Suggestv plans to use fresh funding to bolster UK business development, grow its publisher base and expand into global markets. The business also appointed David Ayre, previously of Teads, as head of business development.
