SuitePad provides digital guest communication systems through purpose-built in-room tablets called SuitePads that centralize communication between hoteliers and guests. The devices present hotel information, services, and local-area details, and act as booking tools for hotel restaurants, shops, and spas. Each SuitePad integrates with an in-room telephone and TV remote, and the company also offers a bring-your-own-device (BYOD) solution. SuitePad serves 1,000 hotels across 30 countries, covering over 60,000 hotel rooms worldwide, and has a team of more than 60 employees. The company plans to use the newly raised seven-digit funding round to further expand into European, Asian, and US markets. Founded in 2012 and based in Berlin, SuitePad offers a tablet-based solution that gives hotel guests a digital connection during their stay. The tablets unite the guest directory, newspapers, restaurant menus and other in-room paper items and integrate with hotel property management systems and SuitePad’s cross-property SaaS platform. Guests can use SuitePad to touch-to-order room service, book spa offers and local events, while hotels can message guests, promote offers and gather feedback in real time. The solution is already deployed in more than 200 hotels across Europe. The company will use the new capital to expand its international sales team and introduce features to enhance guest-hotel interaction, add entertainment options and optimize hotel workflows.
