Sukoon is an online mental health platform founded in 2020 that offers residential and daycare facilities for psychiatry, psychology, deaddiction, and rehabilitation. The company uses a multi-disciplinary team of psychiatrists, clinical psychologists, counsellors and vocational therapists to deliver personalised treatment, including psychological testing, alcohol deaddiction, rehabilitation, acute psychiatric care, and drug deaddiction. Sukoon says it treated more than 11K patients with mental health issues in the last year. The startup is pursuing a PAN India programme and plans to expand services to Bengaluru and Mumbai. As part of the recent investment, leadership changes are planned with Lightrock India partner Saleem Asaria becoming executive chairman and founders Vidit Bahri and Kanishk Gupta taking senior leadership roles. The company positions itself to scale specialist mental-health services amid a large unmet need in India.
