Sundays
7 W 18th St, New York, NY, 10011, United States
Overview
Sundays makes a human-grade, air-dried dog food composed of roughly 90% fresh meat, organs and bones using a proprietary air-drying process. The founders are Michael Waxman (co-founder & CEO) and Tory Waxman (co-founder & chief veterinary officer). The company soft-launched in February and now has around 1,000 paying customers and is launching more broadly. Product is sold one-time or by subscription (40‑ounce box priced at $75 one-time or $59 via subscription). Sundays selected a USDA‑monitored jerky kitchen in the U.S. for production and frames the process and supply chain as a moat against competitors. Early taste tests reportedly favored Sundays over premium kibble by 40‑to‑0, and several customers compared the product to beef jerky. The company positions itself as a “third category” between kibble and refrigerated direct-to-consumer fresh food, aiming to combine quality, taste, and convenience.
