Sunstone Credit provides a technology-enabled clean energy financing platform that helps businesses access solar loan products with flexible terms and a streamlined application process. The company has partnered with leading financial institutions and a national network of solar developers and installer partners to offer embedded financing at the point of sale. Available through its installer partners, Sunstone’s offering allows commercial customers to own their solar systems. Since launching in late 2021, the company has onboarded hundreds of solar developer partners across all 50 states and those partners have initiated over $200 million in loan applications on Sunstone’s platform to date. Sunstone is led by CEO Josh Goldberg and Wilson Chang and is supported by an executive team including Sumbul Alvi, Ashley Cox, Mike D’Andrade, Duncan Hinkle, Scott Muckleroy and Susan Tanski. The company plans to use the $20M Series A to hire new talent and enhance its technology platform.
