Superbet is the largest omni-channel sports betting and gaming operator in Romania, with a retail network spanning over 1,200 shops across Romania and Poland. The company offers pre-match and live sports betting, slots, virtual betting and lottery offerings and launched online operations in Romania in February 2016, releasing a native mobile app in September 2018. Superbet launched retail operations in Poland in November 2017 and had scheduled online sports betting in Poland for late 2019. Management has built a proprietary online sports and gaming engine and brought on seasoned technology leadership to develop a state-of-the-art, disruptive online platform aimed at delivering a differentiated user experience and greater scalability. The company says its high-quality shops and customer-oriented pricing and service have underpinned rapid growth. Superbet intends to pursue expansion opportunities in Central Eastern Europe and globally while continuing to invest in online and multi-channel operations. The business recently received a €175m strategic minority equity investment from Blackstone.
