Superchain Network, which brands itself as the Open Index Protocol, is a decentralized indexer that organizes on-chain data and enables developers and users to access data in seconds. The platform aims to provide open, ownable data so users need not delegate custody or trust to centralized aggregators. Superchain says its approach differs from incumbents trying to decentralize Web2 APIs, enabling use cases it claims are not possible with GraphQL. The company is offering early access for market makers, quant traders, data scientists and dApp developers. Financially, Superchain has raised $4 million in a combined seed and pre-seed round. The funds will be used to build its decentralized blockchain data protocol.
