Supermoney is a Mumbai-based digital lending platform founded in 2018 by Nikhil Banerjee that provides working capital solutions to small and medium-sized businesses. It offers tailored finance and payment options specifically designed for supply chains, targeting retailers, dealers, distributors, and anchors across industries such as steel, electronics, pharmaceuticals, auto parts and automotive. The platform reports more than 30,000 retailers/dealers, over 500 distributors, and more than 50 anchors, operating across more than 40 locations in India. Supermoney says it has partnered with well-known companies in its target sectors to deploy its financing solutions. The company plans to use recent funding to accelerate platform growth and increase payouts to partners and borrowers. Earlier support includes a roughly $1 million investment from Unitus Ventures in February 2020.
