SuperX Ltd is a Cambridge, UK-based biopharmaceutical company focused on developing antibodies with anticoagulant properties. The company operates as a virtual biotechnology firm with no internal operations, relying on a network of outsourced drug discovery and development providers. Many of its service providers are co-located on the Babraham Research Campus just south of Cambridge. SuperX completed an $11m Series A funding round led by Medicxi with participation from Johnson & Johnson Innovation – JJDC. It plans to use the proceeds to further develop its anticoagulant antibody candidates. The founding team includes CEO David Grainger, CMO Trevor Baglin, CSO Jim Huntington, operations chief Bob Schroff, and IP manager Jo Davies.
