Surf Air Wireless is a fiber‑optic and fixed‑wireless broadband provider delivering high‑speed connectivity to schools, commercial customers, and residential users across the Great Lakes region. The company completed a $40 million capital investment with Post Road Group and acquired FreedomNet Wireless in Jan. 2019. Its network now covers over 30,000 square miles, stretching from just east of the Mississippi River to Ohio; the FreedomNet purchase expands service north to Grand Rapids and further south past U.S. Highway 30.
