Overview
Seojinex develops lipid nanoparticle (LNP) delivery technologies based on biodegradable ionizable lipids similar to those used in Pfizer and Moderna vaccines. The company says it has secured an LNP pipeline and claims a next‑generation, 4th‑generation targeted ionizable‑lipid LNP capable of organ targeting. Seojinex has added Ewha Womans University pharmacy professor Lee Hyuk‑jin as CTO and vice‑president to boost commercialization and technical leadership. It is pursuing partnerships with domestic and international gene‑ and cell‑therapy developers to apply its LNPs across multiple therapeutic areas. The company plans to establish large‑scale production processes and to pursue global licensing deals to commercialize its LNP platform. Since founding in September 2020, Seojinex has raised a total of ₩12.5 billion to date.
