Overview
Sustainable Living Innovations (SLI) produces technology-enabled finished buildings using proprietary, patent-protected wall and floor panels with pre-installed electrical, plumbing, mechanical, fire safety and network infrastructure. The company says its prefabricated panels enable faster construction and higher sustainability, and it targets both high-rise multifamily and affordable housing projects. SLI employs more than 80 people and operates offices in Seattle and Denver, a showroom in Seattle, and a manufacturing facility in Tacoma, Washington. SLI is expanding its Tacoma manufacturing facility and investing in continued product development and innovation. Current projects include a five-story, 124-unit apartment building for individuals who experienced long-term homelessness and 303 Battery, a 15-story, 112-unit tower pre-sold to Equity Residential that aims to meet the Living Building Challenge net zero energy requirements. The company closed an Accelerated Growth round to fund sustained growth and its project pipeline.
