SustainCERT is a digital platform that verifies carbon emissions and serves as an official certification body for Gold Standard for the Global Goals. The company plans to invest in major enhancements to its digital monitoring, reporting and verification (MRV) platform to enable real-time issuance of carbon offsets, plus research, innovation and the Value Change Initiative. SustainCERT was spun off from the Gold Standard Foundation in 2018 and is led by CEO Marion Verles, a former Gold Standard CEO with over 15 years of carbon market experience. Sustaincert provides impact validation and verification services for carbon markets and value chains. Led by CEO Marion Verles and founded in 2018, the company is based in Livange, Luxembourg and combines independent climate expertise with digital verification solutions. It recently launched a value chain decarbonization impact solution focused on Scope 3 emissions and is preparing a digital verification solution for carbon markets. Sustaincert is launching a software platform for digital verification and management of climate claims across carbon markets and value chains. The company is also a co-founder of the Value Change Initiative, a multi-stakeholder forum focused on defining best practice for Scope 3 emission reductions. It plans to use new funding to accelerate commercial, organizational, and technology scale-up to support growth of its recently launched solution and the upcoming digital verification product.
