SwiftKey develops a predictive keyboard engine and a consumer app that speeds text entry on smartphones and tablets and licenses its technology to OEMs including Samsung. The company has expanded beyond the app into niches such as the medical market. Revenues have grown five-fold year over year, and headcount has tripled to about 100 employees. SwiftKey has opened offices in Seoul and San Francisco and moved into a three‑storey headquarters in London. Co-founder and CEO Jon Reynolds is relocating to San Francisco to oversee a major US rollout and to expand the product portfolio. The app is a strong seller on Google Play and the company also pursues OEM licensing deals.
