Swiss-Mile is a Zurich-based developer of AI-powered industrial robots, spun out of the Robotic Systems Lab at ETH Zurich. The company builds autonomous robots that combine legs and wheels to connect AI with the physical world and relieve humans of tedious tasks. In its first year Swiss-Mile achieved early pilot deployments with key customers, including last-mile delivery in smart cities and security for critical infrastructure. The founding team includes Dr. Marko Bjelonic (CEO), Dr. Giorgio Valsecchi (CTO), Dr. Lorenz Wellhausen (CTO Software), Alexander Reske (COO), and Prof. Dr. Marco Hutter. Swiss-Mile raised $22M in a seed round and intends to use the funds to expand operations and advance its development efforts.
