Switch originally built a hardware-based platform targeting high-end individual apartments but pivoted in 2010 to a cloud-based multi-residential platform. The startup has raised $1.25 million in seed funding led by Scale Investors. The funds will be used to fund the company's growth and expansion in the United States.
