SWITCH Power develops, builds, finances and operates sustainable energy power-generation projects across utility, behind-the-meter and off-grid scenarios. The company operates an electricity-as-a-service business model and provides bespoke power solutions across multiple technology and market classes. In 2020 SWITCH closed a $5 million corporate financing to provide working capital, support project development and fund early- to mid-stage acquisitions. The financing is intended to provide runway and growth until SWITCH’s first portfolio of projects comes online in late 2021. SWITCH has a partnership with Crown Capital for project financing and views strategic investors such as PFM Capital as value-add for sector experience and relationships. The company has strengthened its finance and governance team with the appointment of Alyson Jenkins as VP, Finance and Jason Moser of PFM to its board.
