Sybilla operates a proprietary network of 50 optical sensors across six continents to detect and track tens of thousands of orbital objects, including items as small as a beverage can from distances up to 36,000 kilometres. Its customers include national space agencies in Poland, Italy and France, the European Space Agency, the European Defence Fund, the EU SST programme, and it supports UK Space Command while collaborating with industry partners such as Airbus and Leonardo. By the end of the year Sybilla plans to double its sensor network to 100 devices to enable near-continuous monitoring of roughly 90% of the more than 40,000 objects orbiting Earth, with a longer-term goal of expanding infrastructure to 300 optical devices across about 100 locations worldwide. The company offers space domain awareness data, analytics, on-demand observations and services across civilian, scientific and defence domains. Financially, Sybilla was fully self-funded until this round and has now raised over €8 million to accelerate growth and international expansion. Management intends to commercialise its offerings further and scale operations to join global leaders in space monitoring and safety.
