SYLVA provides an integrated learning and assessment platform that creates interactive course materials, individualized exams and an automated grading system. The platform is designed to reinforce learning concepts and can save educators up to 570 hours a year while increasing time spent on teaching. SYLVA piloted its product across 20+ courses with more than 2,000 students at universities and business schools in Europe and the United States and is ready for market launch. The founders are Jessica Sudo, Maik Meusel, and Karl Schmedders. SYLVA has entered a partnership with Wolfram Research to enhance its product and will use the Venture Kick investment to further develop integrations with other learning platforms, expand digital marketing, and scale its IT infrastructure. The company is based in Zurich.
