Symplified provides identity and access management and single sign-on services for enterprises, offering cloud identity management, access control, user management and auditing across devices. It uses a unique proxy gateway architecture that can be deployed in the cloud or on premises to secure access to SaaS applications such as Salesforce, ADP, WebEx, Xactly, Taleo and Success Factors. The company says it has more than 3.8 million subscribers and that it tripled revenues and customer adoption last year. Clients include HP, Blue Shield, ESPN, Forest Laboratories, Moody’s, Zynga, Netflix, Rambus and Dolby Laboratories. Symplified has a strategic partnership with Amazon and launched the Trust Cloud on Amazon Web Services, becoming at the time the only provider of identity management services on Amazon's cloud platform. It will use the new funding to expand operations, service and support, research and development, and marketing. Symplified provides identity and access management tools for cloud applications, offering a cloud identity and access management service that has surpassed one million licensed users. The company reported 700% year-over-year revenue growth in 2010 to reach a multi-million dollar run rate. Its core product offering includes the Trust Cloud, launched on Amazon Web Services, and Symplified has a strategic partnership with Amazon. The leadership team previously built Securant ClearTrust, which was acquired by RSA Security for $140 million. Symplified said 2010 was a "breakout year" and plans to raise more funding this year. Current funding supports ongoing growth and product deployment on cloud platforms.
