Overview

Founded in 2020, Synaire (Shanghai Jinghai Weixiang Biomaterials Co., Ltd.) combines AI, synthetic biology and biomanufacturing to build “super-cell factories” that convert non-grain biomass into lactic acid, lactide and ultimately polylactic acid (PLA) products that can be chemically recycled into rPLA. The firm controls the entire chain from raw-material sourcing to end-product recycling, giving it cost and quality advantages and enabling applications across fast-moving consumer goods, food & beverage, agriculture, 3D printing, textiles, biomedicine and high-end manufacturing. Its key technical breakthroughs include gypsum-free lactic-acid production and same-grade PLA chemical recycling, both aimed at lowering cost and environmental impact. The company has already achieved industrial-scale production and is steadily increasing capacity and market share. Synaire is recognized as a national high-tech enterprise and a Shanghai “specialized and new” SME. Proceeds from its latest financing will fund production-base expansion, next-generation technology R&D and channel development. Management is also actively preparing a follow-on B+ round to accelerate growth.
