Syncell commercializes the Microscoop platform, which enables high-precision, unbiased spatial proteomic discovery and subcellular protein purification from predetermined regions of interest. The technology helps researchers identify cell subtypes and states, novel protein drug targets at disease-associated locations, biomarkers, and mechanisms of biological pathways across applications such as oncology, neurodegenerative, infectious, metabolic, and developmental biology. Syncell plans to place Microscoop Mint instruments in the U.S., Europe, and Asia by year-end and is opening new offices in the U.S. and Taiwan to build commercial infrastructure and support customers worldwide. The company has begun building downstream partnerships, including a memorandum of understanding with Thermo Fisher Scientific covering mass spectrometer instruments and workflows. Syncell’s Microscoop platform won a 2024 Biotech Breakthrough Award for “Proteomics Solution of the Year.” Financially, Syncell closed a $15 million Series A in December 2024, bringing total capital raised to $30 million.
