Syndesi Therapeutics is a Belgian company developing a series of novel, procognitive SV2A modulators to improve cognition in Alzheimer’s disease, other dementias and cognitive impairment associated with schizophrenia. The company holds an exclusive worldwide license from UCB to develop and commercialize these compounds. Syndesi plans to use the new funding to advance its lead compound through clinical development to early proof‑of‑concept in humans. It is led by CEO Jonathan Savidge, PhD. The company was established at the Centre d’Entreprises et d’Innovation in Louvain‑la‑Neuve and will have a presence at the JLINX incubator to access expertise at the Janssen campus in Beerse, Belgium.
