SYNEK develops the FDA-approved SYNEK Draft System, a portable countertop beer dispenser that can be filled from any tap. The company says its system provides access to customized craft beer from roughly 17,000 brands and partners with more than 1,200 breweries. SYNEK ran a $650,000 Kickstarter in the summer of 2014, pre-selling thousands of units in over 40 countries. It recently launched a four-month Great North American Expedition tour visiting 35 cities to celebrate its official product launch. SYNEK raised $2.5 million in new capital to accelerate its global launch. The company is using the funds to grow brewery partnerships and expand its rollout from its St. Louis base.
