Syrinx
7-17-5 Ginza, Tokyo, Chuo-ku, 104-0061, Japan
Overview
Syrinx develops water infrastructure monitoring technology to help clients plan, operate, maintain and manage pipeline networks using real-time information. Its TrunkMinder system uses monitoring devices — including a hydrophone, geophone, pressure sensor and optional flow monitor — combined with big-data analysis to stop pipeline bursts and other problems before they happen. The company’s TransientMinder service focuses on detection and identification of pressure transients within a network of pipes to enable clients to detect and remedy root causes. Leadership includes John Polden (Chairman) and James Dunning (CEO). Syrinx raised over £2m in financing and intends to use the funds to accelerate growth nationally and internationally. The company is actively working to expand its operations overseas.
