Szent is a Los Angeles beverage startup launched in October 2018 by Shawn Griffis that makes flavored still waters using a reverse osmosis purification process. Its core still flavors include Passionfruit, Tangerine, Tropical, Pineapple and Mint. The company plans to introduce a sparkling line later this year and to invest in next-generation products. Szent is currently sold only on Amazon but is preparing a forthcoming national retail rollout. Individual bottles for the retail launch are slated to be priced at $2.25 each. The company raised $2.2M to support retail expansion and brand awareness efforts.
