t-cell Europe GmbH develops novel T-cell–based therapies using an IP-protected platform technology focused on regulatory T cell (Treg) products. The company is developing a Treg-cell product intended for use in conjunction with kidney transplants. It intends to validate its platform according to pharmaceutical standards prior to moving into clinical studies. t-cell Europe completed a €1.45M first financing to support continued development and validation efforts. Founded in 2010 as a spin-off of the Berlin‑Brandenburg Center for Regenerative Therapies, the Kleinmachnow (near Berlin) company is led by CEO Dr. Claudia Ulbrich. Backers of the financing include High‑Tech Gründerfonds, Constantin Bastian Leander Venture Capital GmbH and the Brandenburg state development bank (ILB).
