Tameed is a digital lending platform that provides Shariah-compliant government purchase order financing to SMEs in Saudi Arabia. It offers transparent pricing and a fully digitalised lending process that enables quick loan processing within three business days and customized products to help SMEs meet purchase order obligations. The company has served SMEs with over SAR 400 million in funding, operates a mobile app with 50K downloads, and has achieved growth exceeding 400%. Tameed received its operating license from the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) in January 2023 after operating in SAMA’s FinTech Sandbox. It recently added performance bond financing to serve a wider range of SMEs participating in national and giga-projects. Tameed plans to use Series A proceeds to accelerate growth and meet rising demand driven by Vision 2030 programmes and giga-projects.
