Founded in 2024, TabSense has built what it calls the first AI Agentic Point of Sale (PoS) system designed for multi-branch and franchise restaurants and cafés. Its cloud platform replaces traditional PoS software with AI agents that automate menu optimisation, generate product recommendations, analyse customer behaviour, and deliver real-time operational insights. Marketed as an “intelligent teammate,” the product is intended to let restaurant operators focus on growth and service quality while the software handles routine management tasks. The company already serves more than 1,000 restaurant and café clients across Saudi Arabia and Jordan and maintains partnerships with telecom giants STC and Zain, alongside integrations with major banks. Fresh capital will be channelled into product innovation, expanding regional sales, and enlarging TabSense’s engineering and AI teams. The firm ultimately plans rapid expansion across the MENA region and other international markets. No revenue figures were disclosed, but management positions the company at the forefront of AI-driven transformation in hospitality.
