Tact creates an intelligent layer on top of existing CRM systems to simplify data entry and interaction for sales teams. The product surfaces actions via a smartphone app, voice (Amazon Echo), and bot-like interactions in messaging, enabling tasks like LinkedIn lookups, adding contacts to Salesforce, post-meeting prompts, nearby-customer maps, reminders, and forecasts. Today Tact is working with Salesforce but the Microsoft Ventures investment signals potential expansion to other CRM platforms.
