Tacticsoft is a Tel Aviv–based game studio founded in 2007 that builds strategy and PvP mobile games. It launched the PC MMO Battle Dawn, which generated millions in revenue and large user numbers, enabling the studio to scale. The company’s mobile title Super Mechs (iOS and Android) has been downloaded more than 2 million times and its revenue has more than tripled in the past six months. Tacticsoft has been largely bootstrapped and used prior success to fund development of new titles. For 18 months the team has been building Battle Dawn: Earth Arena, a sandbox strategy game with a social layer and strong monetization planned for a 2017 release. The studio raised external funding to ensure it can invest appropriately in future, ambitious games.
