Tactile
2013 4th Avenue Suite 402, Seattle, WA, 98121, United States
Overview
Tactile’s core product, Tact, syncs a sales professional’s business data from email, calendars, tasks, contacts, LinkedIn and Salesforce to provide a unified view for preparing, capturing and following up on customer conversations. The company positions Tact as a personal cloud for the individual salesperson that complements—rather than replaces—corporate CRMs. Tactile prioritizes a people-first, mobile-native experience intended to mirror how individuals actually work and to travel with workers from job to job while respecting corporate data boundaries. Founder Chuck Ganapathi conceived the idea while an Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Accel and previously created Salesforce’s Chatter. The startup is currently user-focused for adoption rather than pursuing enterprise-wide deployments. Financially, Tactile announced an $11.2M Series A to support its product development and growth.
