Overview
Talenthouse is a global creative community and marketplace that connects brands with artists who create branded content. Led by Roman Scharf and Amos Pizzey, the platform lets artists showcase work, retain ownership, earn compensation, and grow their reach. The company runs large creative campaigns for major brands; its Adidas sunglasses campaign attracted nearly 2,000 creatives, produced three designs and reached 36 million people. Clients cited include Procter & Gamble, Coca-Cola, Microsoft, Dolce & Gabbana, Samsung, Kleenex, HP, Intel and Volkswagen. Talenthouse says it will use new proceeds to expand its network into German-speaking countries. Talenthouse operates a crowdsourcing platform that links notable artists and brands with lesser-known creative collaborators. The company launched in 2009 and was founded by Amos Pizzey and Roman Scharf. It recently globally released a Social Engagement Engine that lets marketers run customized campaigns and attach brands to user-generated content. Talenthouse reports about 1.5 million members and cites campaign results such as one effort generating over 500,000 conversations and reaching 19 million people; it says a typical campaign delivers roughly 18 million peer-to-peer impressions. Financially, the company announced a new $4.2M funding round and had previously raised $15.1M across two earlier rounds. The platform has been used in brand collaborations with Microsoft’s Bing and Nikon, among others.
