Talkoot provides a SaaS-based product content production system that allows brand teams to write, edit, approve, translate and deliver copy globally. The platform plugs into existing enterprise resource planning, content management and product lifecycle management systems without creating redundant functionality or costs. It is already in use by consumer-centric brands including Adidas, Mountain Hardwear, Dr. Martens, Burton Snowboards and Under Armour. The company has offices in Portland, Oregon and Hood River. Talkoot closed a $1.65m seed round and intends to use the funds to accelerate sales and marketing and drive product development. Brian Hennessy is a co-founder and the company's chief operating officer.
