TDGA Holdings Ltd, based in London, owns Space Hero, which the company describes as the world’s largest community around space entertainment. Space Hero runs global competitions allowing participants to apply for planned missions, beginning with 5-day Earth orbits and progressing to the ISS, the Moon and a mission to Mars. TDGA says it has relationships with over 165 government agencies and private space companies in more than 72 countries, including NASA, JAXA, the Canadian space agency CSA and the Nigerian and Brazilian space agencies. The company raised $20m in a Seed funding round led by Singapore-based New Media Holding (NMH), which invested $5m and committed to lead at a $100m pre-money valuation. Proceeds are intended to further multi-launch agreements, secure global and first-of-its-kind space marketing rights, and support global expansion of the consumer brand and community through gaming, video, platform, franchises and space metaverse experiences. TDGA also plans to expand Space Hero IP into hospitality and merchandise and has secured a seat on the next private mission in 2024.
