TE2 is a San Diego-based developer of location-marketing technology that taps data from Bluetooth, GPS, Wi‑Fi, NFC and RFID. The company is developing a product to match physical locations and venues to consumers via mobile and wearable devices. TE2 says its technology is aimed at marketing to consumers by leveraging those proximity and location signals. The company is led by Scott Sahadi. Financially, TE2 raised $3.5M in a funding round announced in March 2014; the source of the funding was not disclosed.
