TechGrid, formerly SecurEdge Networks and based in Charlotte, N.C., builds a business automation platform for technology service providers (TSPs) including managed service providers (MSPs) and value-added resellers (VARs). Its flagship product combines a marketplace that integrates partners, a workflow/CPQ engine with embedded finance, and a commerce-oriented digital catalog to help resellers build, sell, and fulfill IT solutions online or as-a-service. The platform is designed to connect the many disparate applications MSPs and VARs use to simplify selling, delivery, and customer experience. TechGrid was built by industry veterans and is led by Founder and CEO Philip Wegner, who will continue to lead as the company scales. The new funding will be used to evolve and scale the platform and accelerate expansion of its solutions. TechGrid aims to make technology consumption simpler for business customers while improving efficiency and profitability for tech service providers.
