TechNode Global is a Singapore-based tech media startup focused on the Asian market, launched in early 2019 by Gang Lu as a spin-off from China-headquartered bilingual platform TechNode. The company is building a technology community platform that offers news, provides fundraising and deal-flow support, and facilitates corporate–startup partnerships. It plans to expand across Asia, cover more technology stories, and build a comprehensive cross-border business across the region. The company announced it raised US$1 million in seed funding led by Kairous Capital. The fresh funds will be used to bankroll the media platform’s regional expansion and broader coverage. Kairous Capital’s managing partner said the firm envisages integration and collaboration opportunities across China and Southeast Asia and views TechNode Global as a potential regional innovation enabler.
