Overview
Teitur Trophics develops circular peptides intended to treat neurodegenerative disorders where there are currently no therapies. Its lead candidate, TT-P34, is designed to clear toxic protein deposits, restore mitochondrial function in affected brain cells and promote pro-survival signaling. The company plans to advance TT-P34 from candidate selection into clinical development, including a Phase 1b clinical study in neurodegenerative diseases. Teitur was founded by Simon Molgaard, Anders Dalby, Mathias Ollendorff and Simon Glerup. The company recently completed a financing round to support these development plans. It is based in Aarhus, Denmark.
