Telepathy develops a wearable, real-time, hands-free social communication device designed to promote bonds between people. The company was originally established in January 2013 in Japan and is now headquartered in Sunnyvale, California. It plans to deliver a software development kit (SDK) to application developers this fall. Telepathy closed a $5M Series A to accelerate product development and expand its team. The company said it will hire UI/UX/HFE engineers, application software developers, server software developers, embedded system developers, and communication firmware developers. Takahito Iguchi is CEO and the company added Peter Hoddie to its advisory board.
