TelePharm has built a secure, proprietary web-based telepharmacy platform that connects rural pharmacies to pharmacists in centralized locations. The platform lets a remote pharmacist inspect and verify prescriptions and offers privacy‑compliant videoconferencing for patient consults. It also includes patient scheduling, prescription and workflow applications and can integrate with pharmacy management systems and electronic health records. The platform already connects eight pharmacies across Iowa, Illinois, and Texas, and the company employs a 10-person staff. TelePharm was founded in 2012 and is part of Rock Health’s accelerator. The company says it will use new capital to grow its staff, scale operations, and expand the number of remote services offered.
