Tenant offers a cloud-based, all-in-one digital technology platform purpose-built for the self-storage industry, delivering SaaS products, self-storage websites, and technology solutions across point of sale, operations, and online rentals. Led by CEO Lance Watkins, the company provides a single platform intended to give self-storage operators everything they need to run their business. Tenant recently acquired Storelocal, a private membership community of independent self-storage operators whose members total more than 1,500 and represent over $10 billion in real estate value. The company closed a $25M third seed funding round and said it will use the proceeds to further advance product development, expand customer support and sales, and increase platform integration. Backers for the round were not disclosed. The acquisition and stated plans indicate a focus on deeper platform integration and expanded operator services.
