TenantCloud provides a cloud-based rental accounting platform focused on the needs of do-it-yourself landlords and tenants of single-family rentals. The platform enables landlords and tenants to receive/pay rent, exchange applications, post move-in/move-out pictures and manage maintenance requests. The service is available on laptops, tablets and mobile phones, storing rental information in cloud accounts secured with 128-bit SSL encryption and backed up every 20 minutes. TenantCloud is free to landlords and tenants; users can purchase additional services from national and local third-party providers, who pay an access fee. The company intends to use the newly raised funds to develop its landlord software and increase market awareness. TenantCloud was founded in 2015 by CEO Joe Edgar and CTO Vitaliy Ivanyshyn and is based in Austin, Texas.
