Terafence develops TFence™, a hardware-based cybersecurity solution that enforces physical data-direction control and filters at the application layer for IoT/IIoT devices. The company targets fast-growing segments such as surveillance camera networks and industrial IoT/ICS/SCADA deployments. Terafence has formed a strategic business alliance with Japanese CRI Middleware to combine TFence with CRI’s video-compression technology for joint solutions aimed at networked surveillance. The partnership is intended to produce lightweight, high-resolution, and secure solutions that are simple to implement and cost effective. The alliance includes a $2M equity investment by CRI and is expected to enable rapid expansion of Terafence’s business into Japan from its base in Haifa, Israel. Both parties plan to expand and fine-tune their offering to address growing cybersecurity needs in IoT/IIoT and surveillance markets.
